Prison Reentry Mediations
About Prison Reentry/Reintegration
At SVM, we provide Prison Reentry services to support individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration. This free, voluntary program offers returning citizens and their loved ones a chance to hold difficult conversations, rebuild relationships, and address potential conflicts and individualized needs before they become obstacles as they navigate reintegration.

What PRR offers
-
Who Can Participate?
-
Anyone impacted by the reentry process can request mediation: individuals preparing for release, their family members, or other support systems.
-
-
Voluntary & Participant-Driven
-
Mediation sessions are guided by the participants’ needs and focus on fostering understanding, setting expectations, and creating a foundation for a smoother transition.
-
-
Pre- and Post-Release Support
-
We work with individuals before, during, and after release to address conflicts related to housing, employment, family relationships, and community reintegration.
-

This program was developed after extensive listening sessions with formerly incarcerated individuals and service providers, ensuring that it directly addresses real and personalized challenges faced during reentry. By offering a structured space for meaningful dialogue, we help build stronger, healthier communities and reduce the risk of recidivism.
