Prison Reentry Mediations

SVM offers Prison Reentry Mediation to individuals returning to the community from prison. Anyone can request a reentry mediation. They are voluntary and guided by the needs of the participants themselves.

This program aims to create stronger, healthier communities by working with formerly incarcerated people before, during, and after their release from prison to constructively address conflict in their personal lives and living situations. This program was designed after a series of intensive listening sessions with formerly incarcerated people and service providers, and is a direct response to needs that were identified in those listening sessions.
