What are Civic Conversations?
Every first Wednesday of the month, from 12 - 2 p.m., SVM is partnering with the Public Library for Union County to bring together people of all walks of life to discuss current events.

Civic Conversations are communication skill building sessions that are facilitated by volunteers at Susquehanna Valley Mediation. Participants suggest and choose what topic to discuss every meeting, and are encouraged to practice curious questions and active listening.

Learn to listen, without thinking of a defense. Learn to share your position, without forming an offense. Interested in joining Civic Conversations? Register to attend by contacting the library at 570-523-1172.
